At the heart of the tiny North Yorkshire village of Brearton, just four miles from Harrogate and Knaresborough, The Malt Shovel has become a gastronomic destination in its own right. But it remains, above all, a local, family-run country inn, offering excellent food, friendly service and the warmest of welcomes.
